About Me

Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0
Contact Box Generated from MyPimpSpace.comI'm a singer-songwriter from southeastern Michigan. I like music that moves me. Folk, old country music, and blues are particular favorite generes of mine. The stories, the sorrow, the humor, the struggles, the wit, the long drunken nights, the lonesome desserts and forests, and the plain old realness of those old songs are amazing. That is something that is sorely lacking today. As far as I'm concerned, there are far too many "flavor of the week" artists and bands out there. I'm more interested in people that create unique bodies of work with no concern over whether or not it's radio friendly. I try, in my own way, to do exactly that. Sometimes I succeed. These are my tunes, true reflections of myself that I have put out there. I hope you enjoy them dear listener.-Ian James

Ooohhhhh........Holy shit. I don't "blog" often. I find the whole idea of letting my ideas out on the internet rather inane. Yes, I do in fact realize the irony of typing that sentence out on a page w...

I walk a path of broken mirrors Each reflects a twisted image of what I thought I knew of her A self-defeating prism shines within me Disgrunteled, disconnected, discordant notes from a dusty old guit...
