First and foremost I am a father to two amazing boys, 18 and 13 years old. They are the number 1 priority in my life and make me very proud. I could go on and on about their accomplishments and their characters.When I was 16, a few of my friends invited me to join them in an Explorer program at the local fire department. Little did I know that I would be making my career in the fire service. Here I am at 45, still going at it and still loving it. As difficult and demanding as this job can be at times it can also be very rewarding. I am lucky to have a job where I get to make a positive difference in people's lives and I see things on a daily basis that cause me to reflect on and appreciate all that I have.
