i am jen. i do many things. i am easily entertained, usually by my own doing. i jump headfirst and fearless.
my favorite color is lavender, i like the way lavender smells, too.
remember that show "quantum leap"? that was an awesome show. and everyone always ended up happy in the end. kinda like when ren and stimpy go bouncing and rolling back and forth singing "happy happy joy joy!"
if i could rid the world of one thing, it would be mosquitoes. they love me. when i went camping in hawaii i ended up with a total of 48 mosquito bites on my legs only! yuck!
i love being a dj! i play drum&bass, downtempo, and ambient. i even won "atlanta's best club dj" in 2005 creative loafing (free local paper in town). arent i cool?!
i also love writing music and playing my trombone. i live for music! there was this one time when i was in new york at this club and these people had their hands up against the wall. i asked someone what they were doing and she said they were all deaf and this is how they "heard" the music. thats just about the coolest thing ive ever experienced.
i colored my hair superbright red 8 inches from the end. it looks like my hair is on fire! i also got some more tattoos. bjork rules. so do big scary platform boots. i like the view from up there. monkeys are cool, especially when they fling poo.
i have written some cool stuff since ive been at school: some brass stuff, a woodwind quintet, a piece for choir, a piece for percussion and dj, and some really neat mixed ensemble works. now im working on a ballet for a chamber group. im hoping to have it staged in the next year or two. wanna hear some of my stuff? check it out at

yes, i do know most of the people in my list of friends on here. there are a select few that, only after the cordial "howdy" from them, did i deem them worthy of friend status. there are fewer still that i added as friends just cuz they are neat.
overall, i am a cheeky little monkey. i like to play records. i like to play my trombone. and i like to give my cat lots of catnip and watch her run around in circles and play with her little rubber frog.
btw, i always wanted a pet hamster, but this is the closest i could get to owning one without my cat having a hissy fit....
