Although she's a classically trained percussionist, Janine DeVal Gay (a.k.a. FRENETIK), has always been fascinated by synths and sampling in the sub-culture of electronica. After a stint in the UK, FRENETIK began performing live in NYC--melding her own blend of down-tempo, trip-hoppin beats and tweaks using the latest software and synths to create freeform mixes of her own music--as well as accompanying/collaborating with other über-ethereal artists. And though she's designed sound for theatrical productions, remixes, websites and film, nothing matches creating music off of the energy of a live audience.You can catch FRENETIK performing in eclectic venues in NY and ATL.stay tuned...
