About Me

I am a transplanted Bostonian living in the Atlanta area with my wife Sharon, son Samuel, and dog Murphy. Though I've lived here since 1988 I feel no deep ties to the area and still feel like I'm on some sort of extended visit.I have a reasonably successful day job that affords me the time to pursue my musical interests. I still dabble in trumpet playing and am a fairly decent player. I have the ever-present hope of really getting my chops together some day, but practice hours prove to be elusive most of the time. Still, I manage to stay in good enough shape to get the job done.

I also get to scratch my conducting itch by leading a fantastic group known as the Georgia Brass Band. The band has recently come to national prominence and the future is bright. The band contains some of the best musicians and best friends I have known.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. There really isn't much content here, but I really don't have much to say.
