In 2007 DBDD began sponsoring out of state bands (non-NC/SC bands) with New York’s DR.ACULA. From there we expanded to other states, along with become DIY as fuck, printing our own stuff on the dining room table. The main point is to force focus upon the NC scene and make shirts that hopefully people will want to wear. Respect the herd or get ran over. In late 2007 we expanded to California with SHIPSHAPE AND BRISTOL FASHION. The beginning of 2008 saw DBDD reaching to Oregon, again to California, and over the "pond" to the United Kingdom with SHAPED BY FATE.
Seriously, we’re a CLOTHING COMPANY. Yes our bands are good, that’s why we sponsor them silly. The songs listed on the player change every month or so, and are NOT by DEAD BODIES DON’T DROWN. Add the bands we sponsor, because thats who you’re listening to.
We’re based in CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA. We love NC, and would rather better the scene than complain about it. If you don’t like it in your state and don’t want to improve your scene, than move to Iraq and get shot. SERIOUSLY!
DBDD has toured with: A Stained Glass Romance, Dr. Acula, Seneca, Abacabb, Vanna, From Graves Of Valor, Diemona & Knives Exchanging Hands.
We’ve also sponsored regional & national tours fearuring and including: Massacre Monstour (featuring Dance Club Massacre, Blind Witness, For Today, Catalepsy & Fate), A Stained Glass Romance, Seneca, Dr. Acula, Shipshape and Bristol Fashion, Write This Down & The Greenery. The Massacre Monstour flyer was advertised in Alternative Press magazine (Feb 08, issue 235).
