The Direct Agency

About Me

The Direct Agency was founded by Joel Collins in July, 2000, who continues to own and operate the company, which is based in North Carolina. Collins started as a booking agent working with notable bands such as From Autumn To Ashes and Bloodjinn, as well as many other up and coming bands. After several years, he then decided he wanted to become a manager, more than a booking agent. He has since worked for Scratch Four Management, owned by Jay Tavernese and Roe Gallo, based out of New York, who was the home of bands such as Hopesfall, The Panic Division, Far-less, The Junior Varsity and more. Collins is also the owner of an established record label, Forsaken Recordings. Bill Snow came onboard in early 2006. Snow, who is also a producer and engineer at his own recording facility, Sleepless Studios, holds a high name as a well known show promoter in NC, booking many touring bands that pass through the state. The Direct Agency represents a diverse group of bands, with a roster that is continuing to grow, including Bloodjinn, Dead Eyes, Statues, White Noise, Return The Hero, Anything On Fire & A City Scene Under Fire.
