l'amorth duo is an improvisation combo based on the new rural music's principles: a research on domestic environment's music
the l'amorth duo (named after a renowned catholic exorcist) is inspired by black africa and its aboriginal rhythms (which are meant to naively clear places of the negative, capitalistic and controversial so called "rock energy")
the l'amorth duo aims to avoid the invisible radio-waves which saturate the air. these waves, according to the duo's manifest, are detrimental to body and mind's health
method: a handful of cds based on previously mangled songs... two inoffensive picnic stereo sets... forward... backward... seize the right track at the right time... stop... two tracks... interaction... the 'repeat' button... radio... wild percussions... one time free... one time rhythmical... a slap in the face followed by a tender caress... slap and caress...
this process should remind you of a once 'well-known world' which is dazed to the point that you can't even recognize it. It was fun (for a while)

l'africa nera e i suoi ritmi voodoo ispirano l'amorth duo (noto esorcista cattolico) per ripulire ingenuamente i luoghi dalla energia negativa capitalista e coloniale del rock
l'amorth duo vuole esorcizzare l'aria satura di onde invisibili radiofoniche che fanno male oltre che all'organismo anche alla mente dell'individuo...
metodo: una manciata di cd con brani preparati mutilandone altri già esistenti... due innoqui stereo da picnic... avanti... indietro... scegli la traccia giusta al momento giusto... stop... due tracce... interazioni... il tasto repeat... radio... percussioni selvagge... un attimo free... un attimo ritmo... uno schiaffo eppoi una carezza... uno schiaffo eppoi una carezza...
riporta alle orecchie un mondo che all'apparenza si conosce, ma appena confuso, non si riesce ad individuar più
