Stripped down to the basics, I am simply interested in people and art. Ideally, love and art. That might make me seem kinda disinterested in a lot of things, but if ya think about it, a whole lot of shit falls under the titles of art and love. And if it doesn't then I'm not interested. Just to clarify, some things that are definitely not art or love, for instance money, I must admit to being interested in. This is not as contradictory as it might seem, however, if you allow me to explain. Money, a lack of legal troubles, professional success, and probably others are all things that I'm interested in, but only as they pertain to me further and more fully experiencing people and art. I do what I gotta for the peeps and arts. I got their back like whoa. Again, though, thats probably not the sort of response intended for this section, but i say fuck it cuz its my space. A more normal answer, however, might be, "I'm interested in live music of all forms, parties, electronic dance music of all forms, all other forms of creative, electronic and beat based music, real hip hop, jazz, psychology and its advancement, improving the mental health system, fighting the powers of conservativism/evil, reducing and hopefully ending hate, violence and bigotry, traveling, producing music, djing, mcing, dancing, smiling, laughing, loving, learning, understanding, and long walks on the beach." OK, maybe not exactly normal, but accurate for me, even the walks on the beach.
I'd like to meet everyone I possibly can as long as they are genuinely themselves without any pretenses, images, or hidden agendas. Once you got that, I'd prefer intelligence, tolerance, open mindedness, love for humanity, the ability to forgive, a sense of humor that can keep up with the bizzare shit that comes out of my mouth, passion about something, your mom, and the kitchen sink. Female sexual organs don't hurt either. So thats it in general and I'm currently accepting applications for knowing me via life, its interactions, and now this fancy shmancy website contraption. Specifically, I would like to meet bisexual, female super models who are independently wealthy, generous, and love to cook, clean, and produce party favors out of thin air. As many as possible. Lookin forward to meeting all of ya, the sooner the better. As long as you meet the first requirement though, I would love to meet ya. Meeting new people is one of the most enriching things this life has to offer and its only up to me and all of you to make it happen. Learning and hillarity usually ensue, and who doesn't love that stuff. So as sincerely as I can convey it, Looking forward to meeting you.

Free video hosting, video codes at www.vidiLife.com Good lord, where do I begin. Music is what makes me get out of bed in the morning and has touched me and my life in ways and to extents that nothing else can even come close to. Music can convey meaning and feeling on levels that words simply cannot. Words are restricted by defined meanings, conotations, and simply the number of words we have. The feelings and concepts conveyed by music trascend all that, less defined, but richer and deeper. Really, its spiritual when you get down to it. I am very interested in producing, composing, performing all sorts of music and one of these days will overcome the great complaisance and put the time in proportional to the importance it has to me. I've done a good bit with djing, but i got a long way to go. I'll keep ya'll posted though fo sho. Beyond that, damn does music make a party. It is what my social life revolves around and I would not have it any other way. Honestly, music makes a drive, a day at work, a walk down the hall, or whatever. Insert situation here and music makes it or makes it better. I got a beat going through my head every waking second of my life and pretty much every not waking second too, not that those not waking seconds are very frequent. Some of those said beats that might be going through my head right now are as follows:
EDM, progressive: Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Satashi Tomie, Anthony Pappa, John Digweed, Chris Fortier, Infusion, Sean Cusick, Slacker, John Graham, John Creamer, Stephane K, Max Graham, Danny Tenaglia, Dave Seaman, Steve Porter, Jonathan White, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Canttaneo, Sandra Collins, Doc Martin, Starecase, Scott Henry, Sasha, Luke Fair, Jimmy van M, Deep Dish, Saeed, Palash, Lee Buridge, and myself Dosage =p (hit me up if ya want a cd); breaks: Hybrid, Hyper, Cirrus, Crystal Method, Rennie Pilgrim, Adam Freeland, Plump DJs, Simply Jeff, Icey, Koma & Bones, Meat Katie, Mara, Phil K, Propeller Heads, Orbital, and of course the mighty Chemical Brothers (they just might be may favorite out of all of these); house/techno: Josh tha Funky 1, East Coast Boogiemen, Donald Glaude, DJ Dan, Terry Mullan, Basement Jaxx, Fat Boy Slim, Jessie Saunders, Bad Boy Bill, Humpty Vision, Judge Jules, Feelgood, Pete Tong, Yousef, Green Velvet, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Mistress Barbara, Nigel Richards, Rabbit in the Moon; dnb: Andy C, Dara, J Smooth, Freaky Flow, Aphrodite, Faust & Shortee, Roni Size, Grooverider, Total Science, DB, SS, Reid Speed, Bad Company, LTJ Bukem, Odi, Tech Itch, J Majik, Adam F, Hive, Jon Tab; I think that about does it for the EDM, although big ups to local djs and talent, ya'll rock and I support it. EDM encompasses but a portion of what i'm into though. I think that kids who don't delve into experimental, innovative, electronic music outside of dance music are really missing out. Not all music has to be at 135bpm ya know. But here are some of my favorites: Royskopp, 2 Lone Swordsman, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Tosca, DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Unkle, Bonobo, Amon Tobin, Coldcut, Kid Loco, Theivery Corporation, Bent, Nightmares on Wax, Boom Bip, The Dining Rooms, Boards of Canada, Four Tet, Luke Vibert, Lamb, Dntel, Hooverphonic, Sneaker Pimps, Mr. Scruff, DJ Food, Jazzanova, Aphex Twin, Bjork, and the list goes on and on cuz there is so much underground musical genius out there if you're willing to dig for it. I wish I had the motivation to dig even deeper than I do, but I think I'm doin alright. My peoples are in the archeology biz too, so anything i don't dig up they often find. "Evidence of long lost musical intelligence, big picture relevance, the only way my life makes sense." So theres a segway into musical adoration part 3, hip hop. It took me a minute to get down with hip hop because the trash they play on the radio is bullshit. Hip hop started out as an alternative to violence and poverty, an escape and a way to change those cultural pressures that promote said violence and poverty. But these sorry excuses for artists on the radio are embracing, promoting, and reveling in violence and the igonorance that perpertuates it. Real hip hop isn't about all that nonsense. Hip hop is in my opinion the biggest opportunity to express yourself that art has and most squander that opportunity. Real hip hop says something real, and hopefully important, relevant, funny, thoughtful, whatever, just not a list of your assets and permanent record like most of what is on the radio. Some artists that i think achieve this and really deserve to be called artists are: Atmosphere, Mr. Lif, People Under the Stairs, Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Akrobatic, Common, El P, Aesop Rock, Illogic, Diverse, Bran Nubian, Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, Blueprint, J-Live, Oddjobs, Brother Ali, Murs, Blackalicious, Lyrics Born, Styles of Beyond, Hieroglyphics, Jedi Mind Tricks, Dilated Peoples, Jurassic Five, Gangstar, Del the funky homosapien, and all the local hip hop from dc to anywhere theres a bootleg cd. Honestly, Eminem, Outcast, Method Man, Redman, Busta, and others to an extent hold it down despite sellin their soul to the man, but why bother even checkin all that with the buried treasure, booty you could say, thats underground. On the producin/djin/turntablism tip DJ Craze, DJ Swamp, DJ Vajra (should've won the DMCs last year, Inferno ain't all that), RJD2, Prefuse 73, Anticon, Mr. Dibbs, Dan the Automator, i wish i knew more. But I guess that applies to every thing i've been talkin about here. Or anywhere really. Maybe even everywhere. Music never ceases to amaze me and makes me feel the deepest feelings that i know this existence offers. The more music i hear, the better the world just became. The more understanding and experience of anything, the better the world as you know it. In order to appreciate life, you gotta understand it and that kind of understanding comes from art more than any classroom. What sort of art is different for everybody, but it is this important to everybody, whether ya'll know it or not. Act like ya know.
The way things work for me pretty much across the board is i don't like most of any given category of things and am very picky but the things that i do like i passionately and intensely like. I find most movies made to be pretty fucking mediocre and predictable, but here and there along the way i have seen some movies that truly move me and inspire me. There are also a select few that made me laugh so hard i almost soiled myself, and they are just as sublime. Braveheart, Seven, American Beauty, Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, The Seasons of April, Dancer in the Dark, The Matrix, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, The Big Lebowski, Star Wars IV-VI, South Park the movie, Bowling for Columbine, Fareinheit 911, American History X, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Ghostbusters, Kingpin, Theres Something About Mary, Traffic, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Damn have i seen that movie from a lot of different planets. And there are many, many more incredible movies out there too. Its just that there are so many bad ones that you'd have to devote a seriously, substantial amount of time to discovering them. And its not important enough to me to devote that time. I'd rather be out doin shit, engaging in some sort of musical endeavor, or lying on my ass getting rest. Better luck next year movies, but for me music is first string entertainment and art.
Well, when i'm in the mood to have my intelligence offended, mind controlled, body numbed, and spirit corroded, i like to sit down with a microwavable dinner and a can of natural light and watch Oprah. If they're not on then reality tv, sitcoms, day time talk shows, infomercials, music videos, fox5 news, or mostly anything else on television will do the trick. If there is no tv around then a blank wall and something sharp to jab into my skull will work. Ya know, maybe thats what they did before television. I couldn't imagine living without Friends or Joe Millionaire, but I guess a good pen to the brain could get ya by. Television is evil and is good for nothing but cartoons, comedy central, sports, and slowly labotomizing yourself. The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, The Daily Show, Conan, Reno 911, Chapelle's Show, Crankyankers, Trigger Happy TV, Kids in the Hall and the best show ever to get canceled for professional wrestling with pencil sharpeners, The Upright Citizens Brigade. Honestly, America should be locked in the attic of the United Nations and fed fish heads indefinitely for canceling a show as provocative, creative, and blissfully insane as the Upright Citizens Brigade for Battlebots. Buts thats America for ya, and the main reason that America is the one they got for ya is television. Granted, sometimes you do just need to sit on your butt and vegitate, and tv is great for that. A goal for everyone, however, should be to minimize the amount of their lives that is spent unconsciously and unproductively, and killing your television is one of the biggest ways to do that. Fuck Fox5.
Anyone who thinks, acts, and is for themselves. Drop the pretenses and ulterior motives and just be to be and tada!, you are my hero. I'll give some thought to this and give examples soon enough.
