After 2 more Mash-Up oriented CDs in a row I wanted to go somewhere different with this mix. “Guilty Pleasures†definitely has some of the funkiness that people have to come to expect with my sets, but dark, trippy warehouse rave moments are what this set is all about. Like the title suggests, those moments are my Guilty Pleasures. Featuring tunes that have rave inspired, warehouse vibes with acid lines full of sirens surrounded by epic builds; this mix takes me “thereâ€. We all know the ones I mean and we all have our favorites. For me, it doesn’t get any better than those kinds of tunes. I like mixing them a lot and all I can hope for is that it comes across to the listener. I owe a big thanks to those peeps that gave me feedback on the pre-release. I didn’t change the order of tunes at all but I definitely re-worked some mixes and tweaked some different EQ styles. Your feedback was invaluable.
