Coming June 21st - CD Release "Broken Planet"I was born in Ohio. I've lived in Baltimore, Denver, San Diego, and Harrisburg. Humorous, productive, loyal, ambitious, goal oriented...would be a few good ways to describe me. I only joke and tease people I like. I love my family, friends, electronic dance music, the outdoors, my supporters, and my football teams...THE Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. I enjoy my privacy and living on my own. I'm a good communicator and I am often asked for advice. Many people have called me an "old soul".
Eloc's Biography:
It was the summer of 1999 that a young and energetic man named Nate was introduced to the world of EDM and underground dance music. Several friends had recently returned from attending a rave and shared the excitement of the crowd, the energy of the music, and the fellowship shared amongst the attendees. He was introduced to the sounds of DJ Dan, Dara, Seb Fontaine, Micro, FatBoy Slim, Carl Cox, and Paul Oakenfold. Enthralled by the artistry and curious to understand the process, he began attending events and buying CDs to study the art of mixing. It was not long before he fell in love with every aspect of the music. The layers, unique sounds, driving bass lines, and beautiful transitions were the catalysts in taking the next steps to becoming a DJ. Within one month of his introduction to the music, he was meeting with other aspiring DJs and began the learning process of mixing. Mentored by DJ Jason Mythos, he began to learn music composition, melody integration, and basic beat counting skills. As he continued to practice and learn, it was evident that he had a new passion.
In the fall of 1999, Eloc became a father to a beautiful son who he named Cole. It was around that time that he dropped his first CD entitled, “Birth†in honor of his son. It was also time for him to take on a DJ alias. Fellow DJs expressed the significance of your alias and shared it should be something that is completely unique to you as an individual. He took the name Eloc which is the spelling of his son’s name backwards. The name was a true reciprocal, two parts that equal one, a shared bond for that matter. His identity and career had now begun.
Within 6 months Eloc had now released “Birth†and “2nd Coming†and began receiving attention from EDM supporters in the area. He shortly thereafter began a friendship with DJ Rayn and a brotherhood was formed. Together in 2000, DJ Rayn and Eloc formed Premium Blends Productions. After throwing Vertigo and Krush and performing with DJ Venom, Pleasurehead, and a cast of local and talented DJs, Eloc and DJ Rayn moved to Baltimore, Md. Premium Blends began throwing small events in such venues as The Purple Pepper, Grille 88 (D.C), The Felix, and Sky Lounge. Three years had now passed and Eloc returned the Central PA area where he organized his Invasion parties as well as teaming up with 7-17 Productions to throw Big Love which was broadcasted on 1House.Fm out of Toronto, Canada. Eloc obtained a residency at Legends along with new business partner and friend, James Keagan. He performed frequently in Harrisburg and the surrounding areas playing at venues such as Mars, Noma, Prive, The District (Strukture), God’s Basement, SpyClub, The Brass Rail, The Waterway, Jackie Blue, and rocked the crowd at the 6th & 7th Annual Camp out with the DJs. He also played along side DJ MC2 at Club Blue in Miami.
Eloc began his Thursday night weekly at the Downtown Gingerbread Man in Harrisburg during the winter of 2006. With growing support and wonderful friendships, this intimate weekly affectionately know as “Lit†is now recognized from the Poconos to Northern VA. Within that time frame we have successfully booked over 100 DJs in our efforts to highlight local talent as well as established DJs from all over the Mid-Atlantic. Eloc currently resides in Harrisburg, PA.
Eloc has played coast to coast events along side the likes of DJ Venom, Dara, The Brigade, Joe Kopasek, Pleasurehead, Nigel Richards, Jimni Cricket, Mama C, Muramasa, Jae Kennedy, Mason (Swarm), Miss CJ, Carbon Community, Channel Surfer, Hectic, Anton Chasm, and DJ Quenique.
