About Me

These are the chronicles of, Scruffy and Shorty; two homeless dudes who live in the poorest postal code of Canada not far from the richest postal code in Vancouver, Canada. This site is dedicated to my newest best friends, Scruffy, Shorty and Popcan Patty. (and STRIDE gum) It will include Previous cartoons and short stories and of course the lowdown about Scruffy and the gang. Someday, animation too. At present there are aproximately 3000 BIG SHOT cartoons in existance. Every day while at work I draw 3 to 6 or 7 new ones. That is six days a week, an average of 18 to 25 per week or at least a thousand per year for about three years now. I finally have access to a home computer so here we go. The goal is to present them here in various infestations/manifestations. Don't worry that doesn't mean it's contagious . . . or is it? Watch for short stories too. (by the way, I am not mormon. I thought it said moron.)

My Interests

Standing on the corner with Scruffy and Shorty. Drinking and carousing with Popcan Patty. Giving Shorty a hard time. Someday I must organise my BIG SHOT cartoons and get them syndicated. Make an animation of Scruffy and the gang. Best of all, Make a TV sit-com of Scruffy and Shorty and Popcan Patty. Publishing my stories. This is my retirement project.

Conan O'Brien, Beverly Hillbillies, The Munsters and The Monkeys, Ernest Borgnine and Joe Flynn McHale's Navy (1962-1966)and Tim Conway in Sergeant Bilco Produced by Ed Montagne, Get Smart, Jerry Van Dyke as Luther in Coach, Art Sykes, Martin short,Will Sasso of Mad TV, Arrested Developement . . . Those folks in the STRIDE commercial are my absolute heros. Someone should make a movie out of that ad and use all the same characters. They are so lovable you just want to have a group hug.

Heroes:

Maybe the flavour does last too long." Stumbo the Giant, Casper the friendly ghost, Archie and Veronica, Sponge Bob Square Pants, the hillbillies that used to chase Bugs Bunny around . . .
