LENNON’S GHOST is a musical project created by one person to share his Beatles influenced original music with others. All instruments and vocals and studio work are done by Lennon’s Ghost, with exceptions noted. Lennon’s Ghost makes no claim in sounding like, looking like, or having any connection whatsoever with The Beatles other than musical in the spiritual sense, and the belief that The Beatles were, and still remain the greatest rock and roll band of all time. I do not plagiarize The Beatles catalog in any way other than being influenced by the style of music that they played and recorded. All music contained on this page is exclusively owned and legal Copyrights held by the author of all Lennon’s Ghost music (Full writer and publisher member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers or A.S.C.A.P.). If you are offended in any way by the material on this page than I apologize for whatever is in your head. I also make no claims at being the world’s foremost Beatles authority, although I am certainly no novice. I have worked for Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston and many others in the music industry, and of course the late, great Mike Gibbins formerly of Badfinger played drums on some of my songs. The rest is just fantasy baby…About me… Spiritual ectoplasm reaching out from the great beyond! Once I started out isolated in the world of pain, lost my dad, lost my mum, lost my mind but became other than myself for the sake of not becoming something else. Music is the chorus that moves all along across the universe, without borders or the need to be. What ever I say here is really just mindless promotional masturbatory bullshit based on cute little clichés to be gently spoon fed into the mind like mother's milk; sweet and tasty when you really could just go to the local grocer and get it in the can...it's not as much fun though, folks!I’d Like To Meet… Anyone who is into avante garde/psychedelic music and likes to think about things that won't make your hair hurt or your head burst into flames. Also would like to meet people who want to talk about music.Interests… The continuation of creation.Music… I'll be the honest bastard and say my own! I like many different and the more different the better, but of course I am partial to the Plastic Ono Band, I actually like most of Paul's stuff but couldn't bring myself to say so, and of course I am still a fan of that other band I was in.Movies… …or films as we like to call ‘em…MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR was shite because we was all out of our fucking heads by then ya know! But I still like the colours. HARD DAYS NIGHT was fun but made me feel like a damned cartoon, in black and white, no less. Funnily enough I actually later became exactly that in YELLOW SUBMARINE. HELP! was fun as the jazz ciggies were aplenty and we kept runnin' off...but I really just mostly dug Paul's home movies, which I guess Magical Mystery Tour was one of those as well. I do like anything with Ringo in it though because he's the natural...I could do it, but I get bored and always look around for the next THING.Television… The Pythons were great and some other stuff that I can't recall but I usually like it best with the sound off so it just kind of moves over in the corner while I write songs or don't write songs.Books… Just about anything I can get my hands on because I like to know what all the words are about, and of course I am looking for inspiration.Heroes… Heroes are a dream made by society to make you buy into the whole illusion. Be a hero to yourself because no one is gonna do it for you. I was brought up to believe all the crap about great people and their amazing deeds and remarkably fantastic flying accomplishments but they were just people really, nothing else, and of course now are all mostly dead, and I know how that feels, so I would say sod all that and just screw it and find your own way.
