About Me

The Bukkake Katholik Research Team presents…The Unabashed Good-Time Guide to Bukkake Katholik…the band.
"I have not been in Toronto in years, but if this is the kind of rock ’n’ roll they are putting out these days, maybe I should go back." - Absolute Underground magazine, BC.
In April 2006, the band caught the eyes and ears of the Turbojugend, the ravenous and far-reaching fan club of the Norwegian death-punk band, Turbonegro. In their monthly newsletter, which reaches over 2000 club chapters across the globe, Bukkake Katholik was the band of the month, stating: "Their fantastic name, great sense of humour, and energetic songs convinced us to present them to the world of Turbojugend!"

June 2006 also proved a fruitful month for Bukkake Katholik with a slot at the North By Northeast Festival. Chartattack.com was there and gave the band’s performance an enthusiastic 88% rating. "You’d be forgiven at first for thinking Bukkake Katholik are a gimmick act - what with the name and outfits and all - but after both watching and listening to their thrashworthy tunes, it’s obvious that they’ve nailed both style and substance dead on." http://www.chartattack.com/DAMN/2006/06/1237.cfm
As if this wasn’t enough, some noteworthy friends and fans of the band agreed to take pen to paper and share their thoughts about the sights and sounds of the Bukkake:
"Bukkake Katholik is a loud-as-sin three-piece worthy of your immediate attention. With all the raw vitriol of bands such as L7 and Minor Threat, they’re guaranteed to scare the designer pants off hipsters and offer a heavy alternative to the current new-wave trend…the name speaks for itself!" Ian D’sa (Billy Talent)
"If this band are one-tenth as exciting live as they are on record we all should see them. Bukkake Katholik reminds me of how much fun I had the first time I listened to The Ramones." - Dave Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy/Jakalope)
"Bukkake Katholik is one religious experience you don’t want to miss!" - Cone (Sum 41)
We leave you with some food for thought from a recent review for The Humanity EP from Eye Weekly’s Disc-ography of the Week. "Prediction: Bukkake Katholik will be metal icons in Germany, Slovenia, and Finland by the end of 2007."
