Dixie LaRue

Life is just a bowl of cherries. Don't take it serious; it's too delirious.

About Me

Hi. Dixie Feldman here. (Dixie LaRue is a nom de plume of sorts.) Perhaps you know me by my "slave name," Sarah Feldman.
I'm just like you. I like hanging out with friends, I like music, and I hardly ever commit crimes. Where I may be different: I'm a vegetarian; I live with many animals -- including my dogs Lulu and Dr. Waffles, my African Grey parrot Butch, and 4 other parrots. I enjoy philosophy, classic movies, and flea markets. I am also a runner (25-35 miles a week), a swing dancer, and I'm learning to play the accordion.
Currently I'm also into discovering more about God, mid-century style, and supporting the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
I work for MTV Networks and The N , and some dame named Dixie, who may or may not be me also writes freelance for several media outlets, including an advice column for the WE network .
I also wrote lots of songs for a certain animated Moose on the NOGGIN network.
