Let me know...! ------------------------------------------------------- My name is Jesse, I'm living in Rotterdam , Holland (the Dutch call the city "Manhatten at the river Maas"...). ------------------------------------------------------- My parents lived in Israel for about three years, where my brother was born. So I got raised with a lot of jewish/israelien influences, which I find interresting. After high-school, I decided to start working for a year and at the end to be able to go to Australia for three months, which I did. I travelled from Sydney to Cairns, which was the best experience ever! ------------------------------------------------------- After studying Architecture at the TU Delft for seven years I graduated in '04 as Master of Science in Architecture. During the study I worked on a housing-project with the TU of Pretoria, South-Africa. We designed a housing-project at the township Mamelodi, Pretoria. After two-and-a half weeks working on the project we travelled through SA. Together with two student-friends I rented a car to travel through Swaziland, South-Africa, via Lesotho, to end at Capetown. Best time ever!! ------------------------------------------------------- But most of all, I'm a musician/ artist. I've been playing the lead-guitar at several bands, mostly with the rockband Backdraft and Cockroach Avenue. This was the coolest band, but because of band-issues (..)after two very nice years, with several performances, we parted at the end of '05. In '05 as a freelancer I re-designed the interior of a laundry-factory near Rotterdam. --------------------------------------------------------- In 2006 I started working as an architect-designer at a cool architect-office specialised in wealthcare-buildings. Very nice and interesting, but too less creative possibillities because of the money-issues within wealth-care.... ----------------------------------------------------- After a nice, interesting and cool year, I decided to quit and to start working with my heart and hands for a little while and to think about where I want to be. Ive been doing landscape-maintainance at the Rotterdam-region. I love nature, flowers and animals, so this was the place to be for me for a while, right here, right now (and I enjoy every single day) Because this is a relaxing job for the mind, (but hard for the body...) I can finally start working at my music, architecture and art. Too many ideas, now I can finally try to make them happen...!! After that I started working at a Resaurant/ LoungeClub in the city-center, which I enjoy a lot! Having a good time, making cocktails and trying to give the people a fun evening. -------------------------------------------------------- Back in '05 I went to Mexico for a month to travel by myself, but I had a stopover in NY-City. The city and its peoples blew my mind away, so at the end, I never made it to Mexico and stayed in NYC for a month, enjoying every single second!! ;-))After that Í went back for another three weeks...."The Only Living Boy In NY" - Simon & Garfunkel I know some day I'll be back, for shure! -------------------------------------------------------- Right now I'm at a cool place and finally things start to become more clear everyday. I try to make the best out of everyday. -------------------------------------------------------- Im a volunteer at WORM, a very cool underground music-club, next to where I live. Check out Monotonix, a very crazy cool band from Israel! -------------------------------------------------------- Soon I'll be doing a Johnny Cash-tour with a good friend of mine who sings very well, so this must be fun. -------------------------------------------------------- Well, I hope you liked my short little story, if you want, just become my myspace-friend.
