Q: I'm in a band and we're not acoustic, can we still submit music?

A: Yes! However, if you're chosen to perform live in the Acoustic Live talent series, you'll need to strip it down to fit into the Acoustic Live guidelines . We do this because the acoustic environment puts a strong emphasis on the songs and performance.

Q: How is Acoustic Live judged?

A: Judging is based on songwriting, originality, performance and musicianship. During the submission panel judging is based solely on songwriting and originality. Past judges have included, Tyler Bacon (Position Music), Sara Kapuchinski (Chrysalis), James Mormile (Geffen), Art Ford (June Street Licensing), Matty Spindel (Producer/Engineer), Todd Parker (ThroBack Records), Tom Hoppa (Clear Channel), and many others.
