RIP Dirk Dirksen

About Me

Former San Franciscan trying to find herself again -- living in the middle of nowhere, MO at the moment. Single parent to an amazing 17-year-old daughter. Lived in a funky little trailer amongst some trees (until the reenactment of Twister), now renting a big old house, learning how to play bass, and working on a chick lit novel. Love classic cars, college basketball, garage sales & auctions. Exploring new restaurants and new recipes. Tired of hearing that I had a pretty exciting life, like my life is OVER NOW, and am working to get it jumpstarted. After 13 years in this small town in Misery (Missouri), am STILL "that girl from San Francisco".
