DJ Rilla/Michael B Hand Born 1981 Great success is inevitable for this 23 year old Drum and Bass DJ/Producer, and so far the sky has been the limit for his ideas and talent. Born and raised in Los Angeles, DJ Rilla has a long cultivated relationship with hip hop group the Living Legends. That helped solidify his love of hip hop music and culture, and since his first rave in 1996 he has developed a deep love for drum and bass music. Already a skilled DJ, Rilla decided to enter N2O's 2000 King of the Jungle battle which was the first US jungle music battle with strictly jungle/drum and bass records as the weapon. He came out of the battle victorious and has been tearing up decks worldwide since then. He has traveled to Australia, London, Japan and all over the United States playing shows as a jungle/drum and bass DJ or as the DJ for the Living Legends. He is starting his own music label called Pound Sound Recordings, and DJ Rilla's goals for the future are to raise drum and bass music to the level and nationwide notoriety of hip hop, while still keeping the sound pure and hard. He sees himself stepping into the roll as a strong frontrunner of drum and bass music and culture, and with all his talent both as a DJ and producer Final scratch pioneer, there is no way this man can be stopped.
