We don´t care - It has to have balls, dude!
REDRUM INC. assert themselves in the European underground since 1999! With their self-financed EP Cure The Pain (2002) they could earn their first laurels. Backed up by numerous good reviews the five-piece could gather a solid fan-base that steadily grew with every live show and will be eager to help them taking their first steps out of the underground!
Each time the name REDRUM INC. drops bands like Crowbar, Pro Pain, Madball, Down or Life Of Agony are mentioned and undoubtedly these great bands can be named as their main influences.
REDRUM INC. melt their obvious influences into their individual yet catchy sounding mixture labelled heavy core, because whether it is Heavy-, Thrash or Death Metal, Doom, Nola Sludge, Hardcore or other categories all styles are part of the bands uncompromising sound and turn into one huge audible avalanche. We don´t care - It has to have balls, dude!
In August 2004 the recent EP Selfish Blood was then again released as a self-financed release and received more than just good reviews in the hopelessly jam-packed Metal/Hardcore sector. Recorded at Sonic Sound Studios in German town Viersen with producer Achim Kaiser the featured tracks could top a good load of bands out there and explicitly showed the amount of potential REDRUM INC. undoubtedly has to offer.
Apart countless single shows with Koroded, Born From Pain, Cataract, As We Fight, Undertow, Supersoma, Scornage, Ektomorf, Shitheadz REDRUM INC. toured several days in 2004 as support band of the tour-packages Pro Pain / Carnal Forge / Postmortem (Sept. 04) and Crowbar / Hatesphere (July 04).
In March 2005, Crowbar mastermind Kirk Windstein even picked REDRUM INC. as his preferred candidate for the support slot of Crowbars last headliner tour through the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany, Hungary and Austria.
Besides the fan-base the band could already gain with their energetic performances, there are even musicians that are aware of the heavy force that is REDRUM INC.:
Gary Meskil of Pro-Pain "In my opinion, Redrum, Inc. are one of the better unsigned harder edged bands that are out there right now. They have enough solid material and drive to be able to take their music and message to new heights".
