Battlesword

Back in 1999 five brave men got together to start a band in order to play powerful but yet melodic death metal. Only two years later the promising demo CRUSADE OF STEEL was recorded. The cd got fantastic reviews and found many fans in the german and international death metal scene. Due to this the band got the chance to ink their first record deal with Neon Knights Records.In 2003 Battlesword marched into a victorious battle with the world wide release of their debut album FAILING IN TRIUMPH. The result: Lots of banging heads and more promising reviews in the international metal press.Unfortunately, during the following years the band had to face some trouble caused by several line up changes. But with the joining of Ralf (guitars), Ben (bass) and Axel (vocals) the band finally found the right men to continue the CRUSADE OF STEEL which began back in 2001.
