My bad! I just saw that I haven't updated my 'About Me' for almost a year!
I can't say that a whole lot is new. I'm still lovin' the Wichita area! It is not New York City, but there is plenty to do, the economy is great in our area, and the people are a Godsend!! I'm serious! This is the type of place where people trust each other, give a smile and a 15 minute conversation is not rare for complete strangers! WOW! I can't say enough!!
My wife was deployed over the winter. An omen by Led Zeppelin warned me that "I FELT THE COLDNESS OF MY WINTER". So true. I was alone and had a long streak of bad luck. I should have asked some of these lovely people for help, but that's my own stubborn attitude! Mea Culpa!
I did reward my wife with a new 2008 motorcycle on her return. She loves it! (See photos in my profile.) Then I was granted a new bike. We've done more riding in the past 3 MONTHS than we've done in the past 5 YEARS!
What can I say?... I still believe that we've found home in Kansas!

I want to introduce myself to the Wichita area... My name is John Byck and I'm very happy to be back in America! I'm also thrilled to be jammin' out with the local, and, not-so-local bands!
I probably stick out like a sore thumb because I'm "old"! Well, screw you... I'm 40 years EXPERIENCED! Take that to the bank! I'll OUT-JAM and OUT-PARTY you young punks! Ha ha ha... relax Francis... I'm just here to have a good time and to make the best photographs possible.
I tore major ligaments in my left ankle last Friday while shooting the first (of 5) band(s)! This ain't going to stop me... I had some jammin' to do!

15 July 2007 - We've made our move! Wichita, Kansas is a clean city with wonderful, friendly people! It's truly like Christmas morning each time someone says "hello"! No joke!
AnyWHO; the ByckerPix office and household goods are still in transite from Germany. We don't have an exact date for when the business will be u-and-ready in full swing. I would guesstimate on or about the first of September.

We're packing up and heading to Wichita, Kansas, USA in July.
I have a small list of people to thank for a great German stay, but my sincere love goes to my 'Cyrcus Family'. They know who they are! It's one thing to be welcomed, but it's brotherhood that has made me feel as if I BELONG. I truly love you guys. You are the reason why I stayed. I can't express any more love. Honest!
Okay, that was mushy, but there's so much more. You will never know.
