About Me

John McNeel and Mike Patti, started out jammin' together in John's Dad's garage to old school style metal like Black Sabbath, old Metallica, old Megadeth, Led Zepplin, AC/DC and pretty much any other rock band you can think of. Those bands are a great foundation for metal to start out on, then John one day bought Slayer: Divine Intervention and it was game on from there. With this new found sound of pure aggression and thrash Caustic had found the sound they were looking for. We are sure you can hear some other influences in our music if you have ever heard us or seen us live. After 6 drummers and 5 guitar players we now have the line up and music as you see and hear it today. Mike Swalley joined in 2001 and liked the same shit as John and Mike Patti. Mike Swalley could keep up and he was ready to kick some ass and drink, so obviously he was in. If you live in the Northwest you need to see us and some day we might come to a city near you. We are all about havin' a good damn time hangin' with friends and drinkin. Come down check us out drink a beer, drink some whiskey with us or whatever. We are broken up again but for good this time.

We have decided to break up again since we cant seem to work out our differences. Look for other projects involving us because none of us are going to stop playing music.
