The Sailorman fell in the sea-who fell in the sea?

About Me

CJ's career took off after he won a local DJ competition in Horans, Tralee, in the Summer of 2002. Part of his prize was a warm-up slot at the club, supporting Justin Robertson, which proved to be a major sucess. This lead to further support slots in Horans, warming up for the likes of Phil Kieran, Billy Nasty, Christian Smith, Trevor Rockcliffe and Dave Clarke. As well as being a regular at horans, he also went on to play regular gigs for Jamie Behan & Co for Bastardo Electrico and Radio Friendly, aswell as playing a stormer at the Bastardo Electrico tent at the infamous Ballinahassig event in 2005. CJ has also become a firm favourite at Electric City in Dublin, having already made 4 appearances in a short space of time, including a recent set warming up for Tronic's head honcho, Christian Smith. Dan Sykes' Viva night in Limerick is another place you'll see CJ spinning frequently. He's now set off For Manchester, to complete his studies in Sound Engineering and Electric Music Construction at Manchester's MIDI College, after having already completed an introductory course on the subject in the SAE College im Amsterdam. If you haven't heard the man in action, you can check his style of deep, funky, techy house on the Electronic Ireland website, to whom he contributes the odd mix - when he can be bothered to get off his arse! July and August will see him returning to his old stomping ground of Horans; playing nights with Horans' top man, Paudi Cronin, and for the all-Irish 'Homegrown' nights, run by local DJ/promoter Jono Brien, which so far have proven to be very popular, with guests such as Alan Simms, Hazy B, Colm Kenefick and Mark Walsh - check CJ's calendar for more details.
