When you put the words Techno and Waterford together, you can't help but think instantly of Niall Power. Niall began with a residency with the now defunct Subversive in South Tramore,and gained a reputation for his skills as a techno DJ. Niall Power has been djing since 1997, while the past year's have scene a residency with Phil Kieran for Resistance Waterford helping honing his skills as the warm up DJ for the likes of Jeff Mills, Derek May, Speedy J, Green Velvet, Christian Smith, Slam & Mr C while be billed with Dave Clarke, Rolando (UR), Carl Craig, Peter Hook, Alloy Mental any many more....Niall has also played Festivals like SONAR, DEAF (Dublin) Waterfords SPRAOI, SOLAS and Irelands very first Techno Festival TECHFEST, along the way Headling gigs or on warm duties up gigs in Amsterdam, Dublin, Cork, Limerick and club nights across the country.Niall also holds a residency with Electric Circus which he also runs for almost 7 years -for which he has received nominations for 'Best Resident DJ' at the inaugural Irish Dance Music Awards for Waterfords premier underground club-night 'Electric Circus' two years running as well as best promoter.Electric Circus has played host to an array of Irish and International artists and resident dj's with past guest like Robert Hood, Technasia, Deetron, Donnacha Costello, Justin Berkovi, Neil Landstrumm, Mike Grant- Detroit, Jamie Anderson, Mark Williams, Steve Rachmad and Transparent Sound too name some.
