Dave Fields started off playing records in 1999. He was quickly taking a musical turnaround after being in a touring band for a couple of years before. His first set of decks Dave ended up selling his prized Telecaster Guitar to buy a set of Limit Direct Drive Decks and a box they called a mixer, with no cross fader! .Always been musically minded David quickly holed himself in his bedroom all day everyday mixing the same 10 records for about 2 months then after a short phase of cheesy trance, the dark, dirty side of dance music started to seep through the sounds that he got into more and more.Daves first gig was like any djs first gig - a 21st birthday in a horrible pub situation! He then started playing out a lot more at parties and raves and the like. After many gigs now Dave has played in a lot of the places around Ireland: Club Mono, Switch, T.B.M.C, Club Viva, The Vaults, Mezzanine, Thomas House all the usual dungeons of depravity, including a regular slot at the old Eye-wobble partiesNow you can catch Dave with his show on the radio airwaves The Future Mix Show aired on Future 93.8 F.M in April and has had a steady flow of evolving music every Monday Night on the show Daves tastes range from Breaks to Deep House to Tribal House and a pinch of Progressive House also smidgeon of Tec-House and Techno....Catch him and many rotating djs of all types of music on the show From Drum N Bass to Hip Hop or Techno d.js Dave is into everything and loves all styles of music because it helps me see other new good styles of music have great records coming out all the time, I really wouldnt like a category linked to my music just good head-bopping Dance Music be it Breaks or House or Tec-House.Since then, Dave has become synonymous with the Dublin dance circuit and has earned himself gigs as far away as Ibiza, Uk and has upcoming shows in Europe....He has appeared on the same bill as international Djs such as : Adam Beyer, Ignition Technician, Lee Burridge, Lexicon Avenue, Space Djs, Paolo Mojo and has had his mixes played on Irelands National Radio Station 2FMNowadays David spends his time holed up at the Pc and is taking a break from djing to concentrate on music production, his first and only track "Respect" made with Kaymak received rave reviews and was hammered by many local djs and international dj support.....He is now working on an untitled follow up EP and remixing local Dublin Rock Heroes, Mark IIs "Brand New Star" with Andre Byrne.......
