About me.....Rob’s love affair with electronic music began at the age of 18 when he studied in Birmingham, going out and listening to legends such as Derrick Carter, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke and Billy Nasty at Birmingham's legendary Que Club. This gave Rob his first introduction into the world of house and tech. When Rob came back to Dublin he soon landed weekly shows on Kiss, Nova & Future FM. This was a great stepping stone which soon led to guest slots on the Ireland’s national station, 2FM. Off the back of such consistent exposure on the airwaves Rob began playing every weekend in various venues around the city and many a wild after party.Having been on the circuit for almost a decade Rob has played at some of the coolest nights and venues in the Capital. These include regular performances at clubs such as Wax, Traffic, the Pod, Tripod, the Vaults, the Hub, Rogue, Tivoli & Spirit to name but a few. At these established venues, he has Djed alongside Paul Woolford, Steve Mac, Switch, Nic Fancuilli, Groove Armada, Billy Nasty, Justin Konache, Steve Porter, K Klass, & Kerri Chandler among others. In 2003, Rob got together with Al Keegan & Anto O' Brien & put together '12ten', a club night which was held every Saturday & soon became a popular place for a wide range of electronic music and allowed many upcoming DJs showcase their talents. The night became such a success that in the summer of 2004 the three lads were invited to play in the 'Bodytonic' tent at the now infamous 'Electric Picnic' summer festival in Stradbally Hall. 12ten progressed but in 2005 the guys amicably parted company to set about following their own interests. In the past few years more focus has been applied to the studio side of things working on remixes & his own productions. His first release "So Shockin" with mysoul, came out in April 2007 on London label Gung-Ho Records with remixes from the Japenese Popstars. Over the summer this track became one of Ibiza's many played tracks finding its way onto 'HouseSexy', 'Clubbers Guide to Ibiza' & Paul Jacksons 'Its Just a mixtape' .......... compilation which has led onto a slot in the back room of London’s Ministry of Sound at Pete Tongs club night 'Wonderland'.for all booking inquiries please contact [email protected] 2006 - So Shockin' - Gung-Ho Jul 2006 - So Shockin'(ho-house remix)-Housexy Spring 06 Aug2006-So Shockin'-Its Only A Mixtape Mixed By Paul Jackson Aug2006-So Shockin'-Clubbers Guide to Ibiza 2006 Sept2007-Copy,Paste & Delete-Dublin ExpressI edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
