I enjoy the grandchildren coming over to swim as I love the water. I love my church, pastor and members and love being with them. I like to play bridge, games with the kids and playing the piano. From Bob, his grandfather: "We post an update on his webpage every Thursday after we have a conference with the doctors and therapists. In sort, Jayden has had a pretty good week. The ear infection that was giving him such fits is doing better today, so maybe it is about over. He has been eating better and better, and now if he will only start drinking sufficient fluids, they will soon be able to take the feeding tube out of his nose. He is continually becoming more alert and active and will soon be hard to contain in a hospital, as any 5 year old active boy would be. He is still not sitting or standing alone, but is doing a bit better. His speech is still also slow to develop, but this week he did put three words together, "I want more."Thank you for your continued prayers for Jayden. There are so many people praying for him, and I know it is helping. His progress is slow, but it is steady. The verse you included in your email, Isa. 30:17, is the same verse I chose to put on Jayden's thank you cards that I send to people who have sent him money or other gifts.
