About Me

CCB has become such a big name that it is hard to imagine the European Country Music Set being without the CCB. The success with their music and the awards the Band has won since 1991 have been the result of hard work, love for music and trust in themselves. They pioneered the new so called New Country Music in Germany being the pathfinders for many musicians and singers in the late 90s.Here some highlights:1. Since 1991 the CCB has performed on many international European festivals. With over 1500 concerts worldwide they have reached many thousand enthusiastic fans. While performing at the legendary "Grand Ole Opry" in Nashville/Tennessee the CCB reached an approximate audience of 20 m during the live broadcast by WSM Nashville radiostation. It´s also worth to remark that the CCB has been the only German band - to the present day - that had the honour to play in the holy halls of Countrymusic within the US. 2. In 1995 the band had 12 "Country Circle Awards" nominations in Germany. 3. Then, in 1996 a concert in the famous "Wild Horse Saloon" in Nashville/Tennessee. There, the Live-Album "Live in Nashville" was produced by Dean Sams. Dean Sams is known as a member of the band "Lonestar" that for weeks won the no 1 in the popcharts - also in Germany - with their hit "Amazed".4. In summer 1996 a documentary about the band´s US trip was filmed and broadcasted by the "Bayrische Rundfunk". 5. The following years they gained numerous nominations and won several awards. Among the awards have been the "Airplay King Award" in Nashville/Tennessee as "International Band of the Year", the first place at the "Truck Grand Prix" at Nürburgring and "European Newcomer No 1" and "Best New Country Band in Germany". 6. In 1999 several weeklong concerttours throughout the US (Casinos in Arizona and near Las Vegas). In the last few years the CCB toured with a lot of excellent artists among them Trisha Yearwood, Victoria Shaw, Bellamie Brothers, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Monroe, Mark Chesnut.During this time 8 Albums were produced:- 1994 – CCB - Album ”Judgement Day“ - 1996 – CCB - Album ”Heartland“ -1996 - CCB-Album "Live in Nashville" ( Live coverage of the US-tour) - 1999 – CCB - Album “Field Of Dreams“ - 2000 – CCB - Album “Captured Live“ - 2001 – CCB - Album “Wood & Steel“ -2002-CCB-Album "My Way" (special-edition-album for Audi) - 2003 – CCB - Single “Smooth & Easy“ - 2005 – CCB - Album “Forbidden Love“The last 3 studio-recorded albums were produced by Bernie Staub. He lives in Switzerland and cooperates with artist like The Backstreet Boys, Tina Turner, Uwe Ochsenknecht, Jane Commerford etc. Their last album "Still Alive" has been produced by the band itself. This makes the list add up to 8 albums. Those facts stand for themselves. CCB is one of the best, most successful and most known New Country Acts in Europe. There might be many more examples that mark this band as outstanding but the best reference still is their music and skills. The present lineup consists of excellent instrumentalists and songwriters who devoted their lives and their artistic work to Country, Blues, Rock and Roots Music.
