Highlights: A Flying Fortress recording two tracks, "Dream Powder" and "West Philly" for use in the 2004 indie film, 'The Skin Horse'. *to hear those tracks go to www.pdxbands.com* Recording those tracks at 'Frank's House' on an AW4416 Yamaha Workstation along with over 100 different instrumental improvisational tracks with AFF. Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland, Oregon. Larry Crane may be best known for recording Elliott Smith's "Miss Misery", which appears in the Gus Van Sant directed film, Good Will Hunting, written by Academy Award winners for Original Screeplay, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Elliott performed the song live at The Oscars in 1998 when it was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song, but lost to Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic. In the fall of 96', The Nubs, my Portland based acoustic duo, featured guitarist/songwriter and Charleston native Jay Lukens and myself. We performed an opening set for Elliott Smith at Umbra Penumbra in Portland, Oregon. The 1993 Cd release of 'New Music Feast', produced by former Mountain Stage bassist and musical director, John Kessler, featuring Crazy Jane, Mother Nang, Todd Burge and my pals in
