About Me

Formed in the summer of 2005 Facelock is a hard metal band housed in East Tennessee, with a devout and loyal following. The name is a reflection on the band member’s shared love of wrestling and the desire to create a sound that grabs a hold, locks on like a pit bull and drags you where it wishes you to go. They have not only accomplished that with their music, but with the artistry of their live shows, as well.
Facelock has contaminated the local scene with small spores of their infectious style of metal that fuses a love for many different musical influences. Bands such as Machine Head, Lamb of God, Mudvayne, Megadeth and so many many more have left their mark. With the release of a 5 song EP entitled "Conflicted", the contamination was given a digital outlet. The Infection incubated and grew with help of many live shows in all the area venues. Fans dubbed themselves "Conflicted Army" began to recruit others into their ranks.
Facelock developed a strong internet presence and were also able to catch the eye of most of the area newspapers resulting in several articles. Recently they have appeared on local newscasts, a regional music tv show and internet radio stations. Genocide Pro Wrestling has negotiated for the authority to use “Cervical Dislocation” as the theme music for an as-yet-to-be-identified talent.
Aside from their music Facelock is becoming best known for their stage show. Fusing solid showmanship with their use of lighting, theatrics and application of magic gives the fans an unforgettable audio/visual experience. Fans enjoy special effects such as a book that bursts into flames and a chalice that refills itself with blood and there is the inevitable line of people at the stage waiting to be covered in “chocolate blood”.
Facelock is currently preparing to begin recording an independent full length release entitled "Viral" with an early 2008 release. Viral will be followed with the guys doing an "Infection" tour of the US.
