I am falling in love with Jesus all over again.. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? --Matthew 16:26 Could we surrender all for God? She's plugged into God's word and does not hear the world around her Jesus does not look outwardly like man does, but He seeks your heart... just as you are... Whatever you do in life, He is always there waiting to hear from you Sure, we will sin against God. This woman was an adulterer, but Jesus forgave her Jesus was just as much man as He was God, and just as much God as He was man. Surely He had a will apart from the Fathers. If the Son of God had to surrender, shouldn't we? Matthew 26:38-40--He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.†Surely if He chose to wear chains for me, I will choose to wear chains for Him
Father Jehova and my beloved Jesus "Strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?"--Joel 2:11 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.-- 1 John 5:3-5I love Jason Upton.....
Anything that easily ushers me into His presence.. I love to worship God with my heart... More Videos The freedom to worship God is not limited by our songs.. Giving God your heart is the greatest act of worship..My prayer is that we hunger just for Jesus, NOT religionReligious people tend to judge each other. Could we be hurting God more by behaving this way? Have we not missed God's heart in the matter?
One Night with the King is one of my favorites, because Esther surrendered her will, for God's perfect will. This shows me what will happen in my life when I surrender to Him... How wonderful it is to just surrender, and be submissive to God's will... Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing--2 Timothy 4:7-9 I sure would have LOVED to watch Jesus turn water into wine..This is what Jesus says about lukewarm Christians--Revelation 3:15-17--I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.-- Let us be full of His light, and not just watching the light. But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?--James 2:18-20 There is a difference between correcting a brother and judging others without mercy. Look at the Apostle Paul who wrote many letters to the churches defending the faith and the works of the cross. This is very much needed in the churches today. But Christians can be harsh, judging others without mercy. Whenever we begin to think of ourselves better than another, or if we look down at someone because of where they are in life, we are in danger of being judged ourselves. But whenever we think a haughty spirit is in us, remember this truth:True wisdom lives out loud and does not need flattering speeches Jesus wants you to come as you are, He will not refuse you There isn't one of us sinners who don't need Jesus.. Some of the people you'd least expect to be rich, have a Kingdom full of Glorious Wealth.. homeless woman in tenderloin, sf, 4/16/06) homeless theresa sitting on sidewalk; born in indianapolis and raised in thousand oaks, ca. theresa will talk and then start singing a song (somewhere over the rainbow, candle in the wind, ...). or she'll recite a poem about jesus and faith. or she'll heckle a passerby. theresa's father was a soldier who cheated on his wife such that his daughter (theresa) was born with gonorrhea. she says she was born "dead". she was blind and her legs were deformed. while the blindess was short lived, her legs are still in bad shape despite years in leg braces. when theresa was about 6, her mother was shot in the head in a public bathroom for money. The world refuses His love. This passage was addressed to Jerusalem, but the cry of Jesus echos through every heart that continues to reject His love---Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! Even though Israel may not accept Jesus as their Messiah, God has made a covenant with them. And because of this covenant, Israel will stand forever The God of America is the same God of Israel regardless how much He is rejected. The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.--Revelation 21:18-20 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.--John 14:1-3 Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.--Matthew 6:10 So let us remember our first love
