"It is their love of the French that brought them together one magical evening three years ago when they met at a salon-inspired celebration of everything French called Songs and Flight French Night. When asked what inspires them, they replied European coffee shops, Amaretto di amore, white grape peach juice, Excedrin, beautiful people and other songwriters and artists. Most of their original songs were written by Lena while she was living in Paris. Their combination of cabaret music with hints of jazz along with fruity optimism reflects the golden age of the French chansons a la Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Francoise Hardy thrown into a blender with a free femme boost."
