Diddys Hip-hop RnB energy, Dr. Dres hip-hop sensibilities, the Neptunes unpredictability, Missy and Timbalans experimental production ways and mix it all in with David fosters ballads, RKellys soulfulness, Princes prolific reputation, Babyfaces songwriting ability and throw in a little George Martin and you will ring bells and beats like Marcus Bellringer Bell................Born in Hampton Rhoads, Virginia where there is apparently something in the water to have given the world such hot artists and producers, Bellringer started his musical journey sitting on phonebooks at a piano playing classical music when he was four years old. He fearlessly picked up any instrument he could get his hands on and any style of music he could get his ears on, learning to play over ten instruments from bass to saxophone. Bell is a talent ahead of his time. He has always been about pushing boundaries even as a youth. Not many thirteen year olds were running their own independent record companies and releasing albums and playing in night clubs before being old enough to drive. Like all the great artist/producer/entertainers before him, Bellringer has been trained by some of the best private instructors in America, and he continued his formal education to graduate from the top music school for contemporary music in the world, Berklee College of Music. ............................Bellringer is an all around entertainer who tap dances, sings, raps, acts and is able to pat his head and rub his stomach all at the same time. His stage performance is reminiscent of a modern day James Brown, Prince, and Sammy Davis Jr......................On the business side of the music coin, Marcus Bellringer Bell has worked in marketing and promotions for BMG Distribution (Arista, Jive, RCA). He co-owns Market Blitz Promotions and Fresh Diapers, Inc. whose clients have included Warner Brothers, Virgin Records, Blackground and MCA. As a remixer Bellringer has also done remixes on Def Jam artist Sisqo, Warner Bros artists Phajja, Anthony Hamilton and MCA recording artist Rahsaan Patterson. Other credits include production on Virgin Artists Rusty Waters, IDEAL and most recently CheNelle, Arista Recording artists (The Rain, Kelly Levesque), Canadian artist (Tebey), and collaborations with Bad Boy Records producers and artists, Elektra Artist (Ray Benzino), Interscope Artist (Metro), Sony artists (PJ), Subliminal Records, Large Records, Def Jam Japan artist (A.I.) and EMI France artist (Gala). His talents have won him an ASCAP R& B songwriting award. Bellringer also has been ringing in the TV and Film world with featured songs on the televised soap - opera "The Young and the Restless", and most recently the TV shows Americas Top Model , MTVs Damage Control and NBC show the Heist. Not leaving any musical stone unturned, he is currently scoring for three films. .....................Thru his latest business venture Global Soul Entertainment, Inc. Bellringer and his partners have inked deals with Incentive/Universal Records on Indian Pop/R&B entertainer Shakti and Japanesse J-pop star Manon with Avex Japan...................Over the past couple of years Bellringer has traveled the globe to revolutionize and pioneer a new genre of music called Global Soul, recording songs with artists in various languages and fusing many ethnic styles into Hip-hop, RnB, Rock, Dance, and Pop music. ....................My goal is to create music that feels good, makes you want to dance, evoke an emotion, or think.
