About Me

So, you can see my "stats" and my interests. I'm originally from Maryland, the "Hereford Zone" specifically. I have survived: cancer, growing up in BFE (quite happy about that, actually) being known to many in the firehouse world as "Chuckette"-and living up to said nickname- and living on the East side of Baltimore City (all of this means I'm a badass, btw). Then I joined the Army, and got a d/c right away after a diagnosis of cervical cancer. So I married a soldier-that lasted a minute- and moved to California, where I had a hysterectomy and got another shot at doing right. I've moved back to the East Coast for a bit...I'm helping my family with my Grandmother who has Alzheimer's, my mom with her horses and a friend who just purchased her first stable. Professionally speaking, I'm a horsewoman and I make a comfortable living doing what I love. Check me, pics of the adventures & friends out on photobucket.com, user name haligangirl.

My Interests

Oceanography, marine biology, horses, belly dancing and music. I prefer the out of doors to the in. CURRENT MOON lunar

Music is the closest thing to expressing emotion that I can muster. This is probably the most eclectic and long playlist you'll ever see!

Will it make me think? Will it make me feel? Will it make me laugh? It has to score on at least one, if not more, fronts.

Television:

I'm a PBS mind in a Fox News world!

Books:

I'll read anything you put in front of me. I like to explore things and learn from any source. A great author can transport you to their world; and I love to travel.

Heroes:
