ROCKLAHOMA

ROCKLAHOMA is OUR Woodstock!

About Me

ROCKLAHOMA 2008 proved to be full of surprises, did it not? We expected the scorching heat and humidity, we even knew it would probably rain before the festival and the grounds would be muddy again like they were last year, but the 70 mph winds that blew threw on Saturday afternoon took most folks by surprise. And tragically, both the Retrospect and Tri Label side stages collapsed. There were some minor injuries and thankfully no fatalities, but there was substantial equipment loss. Just glad everyone's okay! I got a chance to meet some of you from myspace at the festival this year - just know that we must make that a tradition every year from now on! My friends, HERAZZ, did an excellent job playing Sunday afternoon and I'm honored that they allowed me to become part of their lil "family". THANKS BOYZ!!! It was also nice seeing Robert and John "The Bong Brothers" again. This year, they had a new addtion, Shag, who became an instant star and was seen signing various female body parts! hehehe And may I add that I did not miss the striped VIP tent from '07 - the white one this year was much easier on the eyes! I took LOTS of pics again this year and hope to start posting them over the next few weeks. I'm already counting down the days to ROK '09! b>Psychedelic Trip MySpace Layouts

Did anyone else meet John and Robert from Florida?  You might remember them better as the "Bong Hits for Jesus" guys who had the bright yellow T-shirts on at the festival....
