I would probably do anything in this world to meet Lisa Marie & Priscilla Presley. I adore them as people and think they are the strongest women I know. I would probably faint if I met them and I have met almost every rockstar I have ever wanted to meet.
I worship Joe Esposito, George Klein, Jerry Schilling, Ronny Craig, Ronnie Tutt, The Jordainires, & Linda Thompson and would do ANYTHING to meet them. If ANYONE who reads this can make my dreams come true or even send me an autograph I would be so greatful to you for the rest of my life.

Real Rock Magazine was started in 1992 in Richmond, California after grunge music took over the rock scene known as hair bands and arena rock. Formed by Dawn Greer, it was a print magazine until 2006 when it became a webzine. We were also in Los Angeles for a 2 year period. Right now we are reformating the site so it is down but we ARE still interviewing bands and reviewing cds. The magazine features interviews, cd reviews, show reviews, a ton of photos, ads, contests, concert dates, band info, release dates, and much much more. Since around 1999, we have now expanded the magazine to include pop, rap, country, grunge, metal and almost any kind of music. As you know a lot of artists are "crossing over" to both pop & country charts, so we crossed over and expanded our musical tastes and interests to include well, EVERYTHING!!! We got it all baby. I still copy it from the computer, on computer paper, now in color though, and the printable version comes out every other month. I staple it all by myself without any help and I mail it all by myself as well. But to critics: it is still amazig and I still get into the best shows and I still get to do the same interviews a bigger magazines, so please do not judge a fanzine by the compute paper it was printed on LOL!!!!
Here are some of the things our company Dawn Greer Productions has done inthe past and is started up doing again: BAND SITES (such as myspace): we help maintain band sites and update their merchandise through their site and maintain the site so tour dates are all up to date as well as other hows and appearances.
We set up meet & greets for bands: We helped to set up meet & greets before or after shows to allow fans to meet the band and bands to meet their fans. This means we work closely with the record companies and radio stations as well as management to make sure everything goes smooth.
RADIO PROMOTION: When I interned at a rock station, I answered phones and screened calls for djs & took requests, I also worked in the marketing department doing surverys and maintaining the number of weekly requests in a data base. This allowed me to learn about and work with the trade magazines and learn about the various requirements for making it on the radio.
PUBLICITY & PROMOTION: We have worked with hundreds of bands helping them get interviews with national magazines and insider trade music magazines as well as fanzines. We helped promote them via flyers and when the internet came we started posting on message boards etc and did whatever we could to get a band noticed.We did a lot of press releases, set up radio station interviews, worked closly with record companies, radio stations, band management, & tour managers.

Now about me, I am 35. First and foremost my family and my bestest friends come first. Music, football, and photography are my three main passions in life. Sunday don't bug me I am watching football. I even skip church during football season, I asked the lord to forgive me though. This is a TRUE story! I love to photograph musicians playing live, offstage, or wherever and I love to photograph football and sometimes nature, but obscure things are really fun like the moon, sunrises and sunsets and the changing of the colors here are what I like to photograph most. I worked for the Oakland Raiders football team from 1997-2002 before we moved to Arkansas as a photographer, but not their official one, just one who got a lot of pictures published by them in their tour programs and who gave the players photos for Christmas. It was the best job ever! I met some legends!
My family means a lot to me...my parents live up the street, my brother still lives in California, and I have numerous aunts, cousins and relatives here on my dad's side. When my parents retired in 2003, I moved to be closer to them. I have 2 cats, although my parents stole one of them TIGGER. He is a big orange & white tabby. When I say big I mean 16 pounds and he is only like 6 years old. My other cat I rescued from the local aspca and she is half siamese half grey & black tabby. Beautiful blue eyes, her name is Minnie. (yes I like Disney). I love cats!!!
I am an avid collector of all things WIZARD OF OZ, ELVIS PRESLEY, TIGGER and of course the OAKLAND RADIERS. I am also on a mission to collect as many college football tshirts as I can, especially the ones I like LOL. I have a closet full but am missing quite a few!
Friends come & friends go in the music business more so then normal which really sucks. People judge too much by what others say about you and its a shame people cannot get to know you for you. The best quote ever is this one by Hunter Thompson "The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side."
I have since found being on myspace they do that as well. Someone says one negative thing about you and then they drop you as a friend without tellin you why and you know what that pisses me off because 98% of the time I did NOTHING to the person who dropped me as a friend. Are you stupid???? Listen to your heart and judge for YOURSELF because ultimately in the end who knows how many friends you will end up with.
Once you know me, you will find I am easy going, helpful, funny as heck, make people laugh, and will do all I can to find a way to get what I want...I have always been that way. I will do anything and everything for my friends, sometimes I even go to far but I love to do things for other people it makes me feel soo good.
I love ALL music, but my main love is rock & I am a sucker for a love song! I am single and VERY MUCH looking, especially for a musician or football player LOL.....inquire within!!!! I recently have inquired this candle fascination, let's just say if it smells good I probably will get it...some of my favorite scents are pumpkin, banana nut bread, grape, cinnamon, cookie dough, chocolate chip cookie, (so do u see a theme here?) I don' like the lineny, rose, flowery kind at all, they make me sick!
I also come from a very strong military family. My uncle Robert Lee Greer is a POW/MIA from the Vietnam War. I wish I could have met him, but I wasn't even a thought yet! He is truly one of my biggest heros. My dad repaired airplanes in Vietnam as well, my grandpa was in the air force and was stationed in a lot of places according to my dad. But was a part of the Korean War. My dad didn't see his dad a lot. My dad told me he remembers visiting him in Germany, Hawaii, Louisiana, and a bunch of other places. That's why my dad got southern routes because he spent so much time with his family here in Arkansas. My brother took training in San Diego for a summer camp to be a marine but that never surfaced because (HONEST TO GOD) my mom didn't want himshooting guns! But my brother really did want to join, but my mom ALWAYS gets her way. On my mom's side of the family her dad was a navy sea bee, he built stuff, that's all I know. But I do know he was a part of the WW2 memorial in Hawaii, where my mom's routes are from. (Not me I am pale as a ghost!) LOL. I think, but don't quote me on this one, he was involved at the end of WW2 because he was born in 1914, so that's about right, i think. He died early in my life so I can't sk him about it. My mom's brother my Uncle John was also in the military. I am almost positive he was army, but he could have been a marine, all I know was when I saw his picture I could see why girls wanted him according to my mom. Then two of his sons were in the military as well and again I don't know what branch (and my mom isn't home to ask any of this!)My cousins all looke handsome in their uniforms, and my papa met my mimi in hawaii and he wore his military uniform when they got married. Thepictre is my favorite and is in my bedroom, I look at it every night.
Ok I blabbed enough...If you need more info just ask, I think I said enough lol!!! Wait I forgot.....my addictions are Elvis, the Wizard of Oz, Tigger, candles, purses, my photography, the Oakland Raiders, leopard or tiger stuff, collecting tshirts from colleges, and buying pens because I always lose mine!
