Lets see...what can I say about myself? Well, first off, I feel like I am completley misunderstood by about 98% of the population. It seems like everyone else is caught up in things that have no meaning or attraction to me. Im very interested in my spirituality and spiritual evolution in general, and I like to talk about it. Unfortunatley, most other people don't. I am a deep thinker. Sometimes too deep I guess. I like to hold intellectual conversations, but alas, I cant find many people to engage me. I value solitude, simplicity, and silence; probably moreso than most. I am facinated by cultures, religions, and their histories. Im not impressed by flashy cars or flashy guys. Im not into designer clothes or mainstream music. I think the worlds population is a little shallow (for the most part), and I am sickened by money and the value placed on something that really doesnt hold any value. I dont have a car, I dont want a car. Im not striving towards a career that will elevate my social stature. I dont want a husband, a kid, a dog or a white picket fence. Im disgusted by the hatred and suffering that is brought about in 'the name of God', and I think that the worlds religions are at the least a bit corrupt. At their worst, I feel that religions enslave people and keep them from discovering their true spiritual nature. I am a Philosophy student at San Diego State. I like going to the library, hanging out outdoors, looking at the sky, cooking some good food, deep conversations, picking flowers and dancing.
