About Me

I like intelligent people who are not afraid to live life and be the crazy person they were meant to be. I like people who check out my blogs and participate in those which can enlighten and make life better for those around them. I like people who understand that whatever they do in life effects not only them but (like the butterfly effect), everyone in existence. If anyone would like Green tips for cleaning go to my blog.

The change of mind I am talking about involves not just a change of knowledge, but also a change of attitude toward our essential ignorance, a change in our bearing in the face of mystery. The principle of ecology, if we will take it to heart, should keep us aware that our lives depend on other lives and upon processes and energies in an interlocking system that, though we can destroy it, we can neither fully understand nor fully control. And our great dangerousness is that, locked in our selfish and myopic economies, we have been too willing to change or destroy that which is far beyond our power to understand.

A River Flows...
Even when you’re not here
A river flows for you
Streaming down mountain’s edges
Searching for your heart
The merest thought of you
The touch of your hand
A kiss on the lips or
A slight smile and a river flows
Memories of your embrace
Ring like the softness of
The tone in your voice when you’re loving me
I close my eyes and a river flows
You touch me with your words like
A poet who has found the entrance
To his lover’s heart. That part inside
Where you can never escape.
I’m touching you
The river in me is constant and it’s need is
Neverending. I feel you in me head to toe
In places where feelings shouldn’t be
And when I finally see you—the river flows.

I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.

MySpace Comments We run with the green movement!!! An old Apache storyteller reminds us: “The plants, rocks, fire, water, all are alive. They watch us and see our needs. They see when we have nothing to protect us, and it is then that they reveal themselves and speak to us."

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more. -Lord (George Gordon) Byron
.. And Man created the plastic bag and the tin and aluminum can and the cellophane wrapper and the paper plate, and this was good because Man could then take his automobile and buy all his food in one place and He could save that which was good to eat in the refrigerator and throw away that which had no further use. And soon the earth was covered with plastic bags and aluminum cans and paper plates and disposable bottles and there was nowhere to sit down or walk, and Man shook his head and cried: "Look at this Godawful mess." -Art Buchwald, 1970
Through all these new, imaginative, and creative approaches to the problem of sharing our earth with other creatures there runs a constant theme, the awareness that we are dealing with life with living populations and all their pressures and counter pressures, their surges and recessions. Only by taking account of such life forces and by cautiously seeking to guide them into channels favorable to ourselves can we hope to achieve a reasonable accommodation between the insect hordes and ourselves. The current vogue for poisons has failed utterly to take into account these most fundamental considerations. As crude a weapon as the cave man's club, the chemical barrage has been hurled against the fabric of life a fabric on the one hand delicate and destructible, on the other miraculously tough and resilient, and capable of striking back in unexpected ways. These extraordinary capacities of life have been ignored by the practitioners of chemical control who have brought to their task no "high-minded orientation," no humility before the vast forces with which they tamper. The "control of nature" is a phrase conceived in arrogance, born of the Neanderthal age of biology and philosophy, when it was supposed that nature exists for the convenience of man. The concepts and practices of applied entomology for the most part date from that Stone Age of science. It is our alarming misfortune that so primitive a science has armed itself with the most modem and terrible weapons, and that in turning them against the insects it has also turned them against the earth. -Rachel Carson
