Welcome to my-space,which is governed exclusively by the trinity (God, myself & music). All praise is due to God, only by His grace was I given this talent. Striving for perfection, trying to be one with Him as well as my music to the point it becomes a perfect representation of me. Music became & still is the medium which enables me to utilise this gift, which I believe is my purpose in life.
Music, is a universal language, amongst the sole means by which every being can interact. I endeavour to perfect it in order to communicate & relay to as many as possible my thoughts, my struggle & that of my people’s, my values - everything I love & die for.
Hip-hop, I believe was & has the potential of returning to being the truest form of music or any art form period. It speaks to the very essence of the people residing in the ‘hood, relating to our way of life - a result of the circumstances we’re placed in. That’s why so many of us who were born & raised in these council estates relate to it more than anything else in existence. East London, Hackney specifically, gave me my start & still remains the biggest inspiration for my lyrics, it made me who I am today.
Illset Infantry, my clique - true lovers of music, students of the old skool & ambassadors of Hip-hop in the UK. I’m 1 of 3 CEO’s that formed the organisation Illset Records, & also am a hip-hop artist (emcee) under this record label.
