Started in 1994 and finished in 2007, the new album is called Laughing Sparrow Died. It is full length. This is McFadden's Parachute's 25th album since 1991. Two groovy covers from young psych bands from 1968 are on the album. "Gravedigger" by Mass Temper and "My Time" by Golden Dawn. The rest are Trippy, Colorful and Philosophical originals.New songs are now uploaded.Formed in 1988 by Dagwood McFadden. Members consist of one man - Dagwood. Dagwood McFadden writes most of the songs....he records everything in his attic on a 4 track casette recorder, playing all the instruments....mixes everything onto reel-to-reel and masters the music on this new fangled thing from the future called a "computer" After releasing self-produced albums for 9 years, formed a live version of the band in 1999 with Rick Cona of The Chesterfield Kings and Dave Anderson of The Projectiles and The Riviera Playboys. Toured the NE US summer of 1999 (Geno's in Portland ME, CBGB'S in NYC, The Midway in Boston, The Bug Jar in Rochester))- disbanded in September 1999. Dagwood returned to recording as the "one man" band and 7 more full length releases followed, and will never stop being made until he croaks...Also played drums on the new album by Sky Sunlight Saxon (of The Seeds) and his new project called Green Forrests. Recorded in Rochester at Saxon Studios with guests Dave Anderson of The Riviera Playboys and The Projectiles, Rick Cona of The Chesterfield Kings and Dave Anderson Jr. of The Lost Marbles. To those who have digital Time Warner cable: Tune to channel 111 (Rochester on Demand) Scroll right to Radio TV, scroll down to McFadden's Parachute and select.
