About Me

On November 11, 1972 some friends threw a party for Nancy's 15th birthday in Franklin Park, Il. just 2 blocks from her home. After the party she was dropped off in front of her home by 2 friends at about 3:30AM. At 7AM she was found brutally beaten in an alley behind 2037 N. Winchester in Chicago. She died of her injuries 3 days later. The Chicago Cold Case Squad is looking for the 3 witnesses that saw the offender out their windows.
They are:
Raul Rodriguez,
John & Frances Mendlick &
Joseph Grodecke.
They all lived in the vicinity of 2037 N. Winchester, Chicago on Nov. 11, 1972. The saw the offender and the car he was driving. The police believe they know who did this, they just need one of the witness to come forward. If you know any of the people above please urge them to contact the Cold Case Squad at 312-746-9690 or via email on this site. The police also believe the offender told others that he committed this crime and we would urge those people to come forward.
