Welcome to my profile. I am Jim Sutterfield, a psychic medium, although I never wanted to be. My life has been a journey of pain, laughter, and discovery, as I came to accept what I am able to do, and use it to help others. Now that I am older, a bit wiser, and much more comfortable with myself, I have realized that this ability is not so much a curse or a gift...it just is what it is. The gift that I seem to possess is in the way I take things that I see, that I understand, and pass it along to others in a way that they can understand and can learn from. Many people have told me that meeting me was a life-altering experience. I am finally starting to accept that to be true, at least from their perspective; and I take that statement as a compliment of the highest order.Years ago, with my brother-in-spirit, Michael Riola, Mediums Inc was formed as a safe-haven for those of us who have been considered to be outcasts, freaks, and oddities. To our surprise, it became so much more as people from all walks of life started seeking us out. It became rapidly apparent that we are not the freaks, the oddities, or the outcasts anymore. Now, we are the ones that are being sought for knowledge that has been kept from so many for so very long. This has sparked a mission within us to share what we have learned with as many people as is at all possible.
At the same time, I have an intense passion for history, especially in areas of theoligical, occult, and alternative history. This has lead to my being viewed as an expert on the occult, ritual abuse cases, and cult activity. Please understand that I am not meaning to sound like I am bragging on myself, for I am not, I am simply stating that I have done a lot of work and a lot of research into these areas.
It is my goal that, through this MySpace profile, I can help bring together people that share common goals, ideas, theories, etc., and be able to start a network of knowledge. Knowledge is power; the power to be aware of our surroundings, the power to realize truth, and the power to be free in the truest sense of the word.
My journey through life has awakened a deep understanding regarding the connectivity of all things around us, from the microverse to the macroverse. Thus, my intense interest in quantum physcics, chaos theory, and energy manipulation. I am always open to discussion and new ideas.
Another goal that I have had is to de-mystify what we, as psychics and mediums, do. For too long we have been seen as fakes, frauds, and worse. In many cases, this reputation is well earned; however, in many cases it is a insult to the highest degree; an insult given by the ignorant who do not want to take the time to explore what we do, or how we do it. To this end, I am always searching for researchers that are willing to help prove what we do in an open-minded, scientific fashion.
Remember, Nostrodomas said that when rational logic meets divine inspiration, miracles happen. Our research cannot survive on one school of thought alone; it must be a merging of the two.
