Band Members: As a flutist, a sound designer and a composer of electronic music, Martijn Alsters took part in numerous theatre, television, recording and cinema productions. Presently he is a professor of Music Production, Wind-Controller and Ensemble at Codarts-Rotterdam and The Utrecht School of Arts.
Singer and multi-instrumentalist Mr Averell is widely acknowledged for his theatrical performance-style. As a drummer/percussionist, sounddesigner and vocalist he worked with many well-known artists around the world. Traditional art from India and Northern Africa largely influences his work.
Born and raised in Norway, Siri-Marie Bergsmark studied clarinet and bass clarinet at Rotterdam Conservatoire. She specialized in world music, in particular Brazilian samba and choro, Argentinean tango and different styles of improvisation.
Willem Tanke is well-known for his interpretation of Olivier Messiaen's oeuvre for organ on eight CDs. As an improviser, he has an original and innovative language, in which the influence of Eastern and African music can be heard.
