Biscaya

Björn Rosenström listens to Biscaya. Do you?

About Me

Biscaya was a Swedish hard rock slash heavy metal group squirming around the trails of the likes of Europe and Yngwie Malmsteen in the early 80's. The fact that the band's debute from 1983 (BISCAYA, here represented by the not so Rainbow-esque "Biscaya".) came only one year after James Last released an album called "Biscaya" may, or may not, have mattered.
The follow-up, the EP ON 45, was a better and more mature effort. The three songs "Hit It Hard", "Swinging To A Melody" and "Greg's Song" gives us a taste that takes us straight back to '84.
Also featured on this page are the two "new" songs "Ben and Lucy" and "Vidde Vadde Vodde" from the forthcoming remastered edition of BISCAYA. It will also contain the four songs from the EP. "Vidde" is not yet mixed but gives a tolerable idea of what's going on. The Mölnlycke pôjken IA EKLUNDH plays the eminent guitarsolo.
