Movies:

Horror movies, and comedies...there...I admit it. Personal favourite is "The Haunting" the 1964 version directed by Robert Wise (not the Jan de Bont remake). Another fave is"A Fish Called Wanda" is still laugh out loud funny for me. Loved just about every movie from Tim Burton...esp. "Nightmare Before Christmas". "The Prestige" is my most recent favourite movie...but hey....Hugh Jackman & Christian Bale...together. What's not to love? "Donnie Darko" is a head scratcher but it has a nice dark twisty vibe. An hey..."Brokeback Mountain" of course should be on everyones view list. "Shortbus", interesting...Finally saw "Children of Men" on DVD, WOW..very moving.

Television:

"Heroes" is my current fave. also anything with Joss Whedon's name attached to it(Buffy T.V.S., Firefly, Angel etc.).Recently discovered "Veronica Mars"great writing on that one. "Dante's Cove" is my favourite guilty pleasure, that spot was previously held by "Charmed". Reality shows for me are: "Canadian (and American)Idol", "So You Think You Can Dance", "The Amazing Race" and others . Those great fake news shows, "The Daily Show" & "The Colbert Report", they keep things real. Did I mention Joss Whedon?....Finallly what the hell happened to "The Class", best sitcom ever, is it gone, been renewed ...what?

Books:

I could list a bunch of pretentious "hip" books, but honestly I likes me da scary horror thrillers! "Hyperion" and "Olympos" by Dan Simmons are the most recent SF that I've read. And yes I am awaiting the 7th Harry Potter book. Currently reading "Night Watch" by...er...that Russian guy. Just got the new "Harry Potter" in the mail...Wahoooo!!! Oh...and raise your hands if you know who H.P. Lovecraft is......you know who you are.
