Ian

hi!

About Me

I enjoy playing drums in "The Yell"

Before all that, ney for the last six years, I have been carving out a career (or plowing a furow, depending on the way you look at it) as a sound artist interested in static musical pieces. I enjoy electronic blips, cheap guitars and a variety of found sounds. It's hard to explain. I've been influenced in no particular order by Steve Reich, La Monte Young, Morton Feldman and Brian Eno.

You can listen at my other myspace www.myspace.com/ianbaxterexperimentalmusician or click down there (I'm my own top friend)

You can read some more feeble attempts to explain this at www.ianbaxter.net

I also run a CD-R micro-label which is at www.quietrecords.co.uk

I occasionally play live as myself too.

When not growing music I like growing veg.
