About Me

Iâ€™m just a happily married man who really enjoys playing wood flutes such as the Native American style, transverse wood, and bamboo flute. If I do have any â€œspecial giftâ€, it is the desire and passion to compose songs for the flute. I also enjoy creating artwork.
Being born and raised in northern Wisconsin, I truly enjoy the gifts that the Creator or God gave to everyone to enjoy and hold sacred. Such as the Chequamegon National Forest which is my neighbor to the north of me.I spend a lot of time in the Chequamegon enjoying the eagles, wolves, deer, and other Godâ€™s gifts. Drawing inspiration from watching a sunset or a moon rising through the heavens. Other beauties of nature also help fan the flame of my song creativity.I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin but my heritage is Russian/German. My relatives came from the Volhynia area which was in the western part of Russia. From there more distant relatives migrated from the Baltic area. They were farmers.Watching a thunderhead billowing one hot July afternoon, I came to realize how insignificant a person is in Godâ€™s creation. Man is no more than a speck of dust in the realm of the cosmos. Being humbled by Godâ€™s creation, my spiritual soul is bountiful.My greatest hope is that my flute playing will enrich your spirit.KCDoberstein

The heartbeat of the earth also carried in their souls. The family farmer is almost nonexistent today. It has been replaced by large corporations. But the Harvest Moon still rises once a year.
