About Me

I play guitar and bass, with influences being The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Eric Johnson, Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker, Rush, Stanley Clarke, Jaco, Mick Karn, Percy Jones, L Shankar, Chrstopher Parkening, Mingus, Miles, Coltrane, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin. Not much in the way of Pop, Punk or straight Blues...thats just the way it worked out.
After cutting my teeth in the rock world, Coltrane's early 60's material as well as John McLaughlin's Indian inspired music of the mid 70's, were very important to my development. I also spent many years focusing on classical music, with Chopin and Beethoven being my favorites, and hope to bring some classical elements of arrangement and dynamics to some new pieces.
