Luis Carlos Maldonado

Luis started playing guitar at age seven and had a natural ability for instruments. He then began formal studies for classical upright bass and classical guitar from age ten to fourteen. During this time, Luis competed, winning first place awards, as well as earning scholarships for Guitar and the Orchestra. Accepted as a prodigy at the University of Arizona, twelve-year-old Luis was constantly surrounded by adults in guitar master classes. This allowed him to master his instruments at a very early age.
After moving to California, Luis began jazz studies and vocal training. His studies with several musical styles lasted throughout college while immersing himself in everything that involved recording, performance, and original composition. Since then, his playing credits have increased and allowed Luis to travel to more than thirty-four countries and keep busy throughout the year.
